The Intervale Center provides business planning support to established farmers and value-added food businesses through a partnership with the Vermont Farm and Forest Viability Program.
This program includes a comprehensive, two-year business planning process designed to help farmers meet their goals and build management skills. Program participants meet regularly with Intervale staff and independent consultants to develop and refine a long-term plan for their farm or food business. The Program helps farmers address core business concerns including developing new infrastructure or enterprises, attaining financial viability, or transferring ownership.
