Celebrate Arbor Day with us!

Across Vermont, healthy forests are vital to mitigating climate change - they slow flooding, store water for agricultural irrigation, capture carbon, create wildlife habitat, and provide important psychological benefits to the people who live among and around them. Our Conservation Nursery is a leader in national reforestation efforts, with tens of thousands of native trees being planted for riparian restoration projects each year.

Since its inception in 2001, our Conservation Nursery has planted over 487,000 trees, equivalent to 2,000 acres of new forest. Over the next several years, the Intervale Center will continue to collaborate with regional partners to double the number of native trees we grow

Now through Mother's Day you can help us grow even more trees! When you  give a gift of $40 or more to the Intervale Center, we will plant a tree in honor of you or a loved one.
