Christine started working on the Intervale Conservation Nursery Planting Crew as a seasonal worker, she quickly grew to become the Planting Crew Leader and now she is the Services Coordinator working additionally on grant-funded stewardship projects and invasive species removal. Her love for being outside and passion for conserving green spaces is what connects her to the Intervale Center; they are why she pursued an Environmental Sciences degree with a concentration in Geology at UVM! Her work with the Intervale Center is creating a legacy all across the state of Vermont as the trees we cultivate and plant will continue to be a gift and provide a myriad of ecosystem services and wellbeing for future generations.
