Last year, over 25 corporate volunteer groups volunteered with our programs, contributing more than 800 hours to our Conservation Nursery, Gleaning & Food Rescue, Summervale, trail maintenance and more. Groups included employees from well-known Vermont businesses like National Life, Dealer.com, UVM Medical Center, Vermont Tent Company, Keurig Green Mountain, Vermont Gas, Twincraft Skincare, Gardener’s Supply Company, Eating Well, Oxbow Creative, City Market, Dinse Knapp & McAndrews, and more.

We’re looking for groups specifically to volunteer with our Conservation Nursery from April – November and Gleaning & Food Rescue from July – October.  We provide meaningful, fun, and well-organized volunteer opportunities that allow groups to engage in their community food system in tangible ways. Your volunteer time will:

-          improve food access by gleaning and distributing fresh vegetables

-          keep the one-and-only Intervale maintained for free public use

-          improve Vermont and Lake Champlain’s water quality

-          celebrate Vermont’s vibrant food system

Volunteer activities are led by knowledgeable, experienced program staff that orient and support each volunteer group throughout the day.

We look forward to working with you! To set up a volunteer opportunity or for more information, contact:
