Ben Rodgers brings a wealth of experience as an educator and advocate for climate-forward community initiatives to the Intervale Center team. He has a deep-rooted connection to Intervale land, having spent years gardening at Tommy Thompson, commuting by bike along the Wildways trail, and collaborating on stewardship projects with organizations such as the Vermont Garden Network and New Farms for New Americans.        

Ben holds a BS in Environmental Science Systems and Religious Studies from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY. Prior to joining the Intervale Center, he was a Project Manager with Burlington Parks, Recreation, and Waterfront and Afterschool Director with the Burlington School District. He is deeply passionate about preserving and enhancing our urban and wild landscapes, fostering meaningful educational opportunities for learners of all ages, and creating vibrant and inclusive spaces where people can connect and thrive.

Outside of his work at the Intervale Center, you can find Ben on Tuesday’s managing the Old North End Farmers' Market or playing his steel guitar with the Honky Tonk Tuesday band.
